Last Thursday, members of East Hampton Ambulance paid a special visit to East Hampton Nursery School so the children could enjoy a fun time with the ambulance and we could drop off a donation.
During the month of May, our organization collected donations from our own members to assist the nursery school and all the donations were matched 100% by a generous donor.
The nursery school was in danger of closing after 55 years of service to the Town of East Hampton due to COVID setbacks and increasing operational costs.
Thankfully due to individual, business, and group donations the nursery school will be open this fall and accepting enrollment! Many of our own members or their families have attended the nursery school over the years and it was the least we could do to help out another local organization in town.
As always, you can still donate to the Nursery School. They accept cash, check, venmo, or go fund me and they are a non profit organization that is tax exempt.
